Company History

Rocky Mountain Instrumental Laboratories, Inc. was founded in 1980 for the purpose of providing high quality cGLP analyses to the pharmaceutical industry. Our strengths as a laboratory emphasize our commitment to personalized customer service and the development of improved analytical methods with the most effective instrumentation available. We have grown continuously since our inception because of those qualities. If your firm needs answers to difficult problems, or merely routine analyses, our highly automated facilities may well be your best choice. Please contact Dr. Patricia Sulik or Dr. Robert Lantz for additional information. We are CLIA licensed, FDA registered, and are cGLP compliant.

Our instrumentation capabilities include:

  • HPLC/MS/MS for the analysis of proteins, peptides, oligonucleotides, small molecules and their degradants. This especially includes paclitaxel (Taxol), rapamycin (Sirolimus), everolimus, doxorubicin, and other potent pharmaceutical agents.
  • GC/MS/MS (CI and EI modes), GC/NP, and GC/FID.
  • HPLC with PDA, Fluorescence, RI, and UV detection modes.
  • Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometry (FT/IR).
  • Dissolution and Formulation.
  • Stability testing at all applicable ICH temperatures and conditions.
  • Contaminant, degradant, and VOC identification and measurement.
  • Electrophoresis, Iso-electric Focusing, TLC, and Ion Selective Electrode Analysis.
  • Radioimmunoassay (RIA) and Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA).
  • Validated data backup and storage.
All of our chromatographic and immunochemical analyses are fully automated both with autosamplers and with validated, computerized data collection and processing systems. In addition to paper copies of reports and validation data provided to our clients, all data generated with our computerized data systems are maintained both off-site and on-site on magnetic or optical media. Therefore, all data are rapidly accessible and transferable to clients and regulatory agencies, in addition to being protected against loss.

We do not provide animal testing or animal care.
